SMA visit to California State University, Dominguez Hills
Christina Richter, Joe Piotrowski and Janine Sarmiento will visit CSUDH on Wednesday, November 18, 2009.  The SMA board members were asked to be guest speakers for two HR classes and speak on a panel for the HRMA student organization on campus.  Their presentations will cover a wide array of relevant topics including an overview of career opportunities in human resources, general staffing issues in this economy, and trends and challenges in our profession.  They will brief the students about HR professional resources like SHRM and SMA, then offer career advice to those students nearing graduation.  This on-campus visit offers students an invaluable opportunity to network with industry practitioners and seek professional guidance as they embark on their career.
